I saw women trying so hard… long workouts, restrictive diets, endless cardio — and still feeling discouraged. know what it feels like to feel trapped in a body you don't recognize.
For years, I was the girl doing everything right. Eating “clean.” Hitting my steps. Tracking my macros. Working out consistently. And somehow… my body still wasn’t responding.
I felt puffy, inflamed, frustrated, and honestly defeated — like my metabolism was working against me no matter how disciplined I was. Then I was diagnosed with lipedema, and everything finally made sense. It wasn’t that I wasn’t trying hard enough. It was that my body needed a different strategy — one that supported inflammation, hormones, recovery, and metabolic flexibility… not just “eat less and do more.”
That’s why I created what The Fitt Cycle App is today. My background in nursing and functional nutrition gave me the science, but my own journey gave me the mission: to create a space where women finally feel supported, understood, and guided — with a plan that actually works in real life.
The Fitt Cycle was never meant to be another extreme program. Then: We went to dinner last night and I was walking up and could see my reflection and I was like those are not my legs! They are def changing & toning!

My win is this: I don't keep a scale in my house. The only time I weigh is when I go to the doctor to get my blood levels checked for my blood thinner. The last time I was weighed was the Thursday before the challenge began. That is how I set my weight loss goal. I went back yesterday and was surprised to learn I have already lost 7 pounds!!! I have more energy and feel better! Even though I don't always have perfect days, the challenge is working! Also water and steps everyday!

I've upped my veggie intake and feel lighter and learner. My workouts have felt great and that Bring Sally Up challenge has had my muscles screaming this week! I first joined in spring of 2019, but really got serious with it in Sept of 2019. I LOVE how much stronger I've gotten and how great I feel!!!

My wins this week:
Increased maintenance calories, lost 5lbs and increased weights. I've been here a little over a year and will NEVER look back. Best lifestyle program EVER!!!
Favorite move is deadlifts ALWAYS!!
